Elisa Kühnl, Γλώσσα (2020)
“Moments of alienation,” writes Elisa Kühnl, are “difficult to name, endure, never mind evaluate.” In her project Γλώσσα, she initiates an autoethnographic research situation in which the voices of all participants develop as intimate and at the same time alien beings . Though the laboratory has no audience, the work sometimes shifts into public view – at a performance in Mühlheim an der Ruhr, for example, with a fixed choir and an audience drifting on pedal boats.
Created under the supervision of Prof. Julian Rohrhuber and Waltraud Blischke as part of the Klang und Realität master’s program at the Institute for Music and Media at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf, the project goes on.
