The academic departments of the Robert Schumann Hochschule

The University has five academic departments. With around 200 students, the Institute for Music and Media (IMM) is the largest academic department. In addition, there are also the Institute of Musicology, the Institute of Church Music, and the Institute of Composition and Music Theory. Schumann Junior, the academy for talented children and youth, is an independent institute.
