Welcome to the conservatory library!
If you have problems logging into your library account, please change your password in Microsoft 365. It will also be synchronized in EDUROAM (WLAN) and your library account.
A brief introduction
The library of the Robert Schumann conservatory Düsseldorf holds a wide range of musical literature, scores and sheet music. We are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of Gebäude e (Georg-Glock-Str. 19, entrance on the 2nd floor).
How to get a library card?
To request a library card, please fill out this form. We will notify you as soon as your library card is ready to be picked up.
How to lend and return books?
You can lend and return most books all by yourself at our self-checkout terminal and our return-terminal. For a detailed description please see our short tutorial videos
The library provides access to different databases, e. g. nkoda, Jstor and the Henle Library app.
There are many possibilities to use the library:
You can
…do work or research on one of the computers on both floors or work with your own mobile devices or laptops in designated areas
…produce copies, scan media or bind copies of your music sheets or programs
…play one of the many e-pianos provided by the library
…or just sit back and relax in our comfortable chairs in the area „Lesen & entdecken“
There are different rooms you can book if you want to study or learn with a group: „Denkfarbiken“ (can be used alone or with up to 4 people) and „Medienwerkstätten“ (hosts 5 to 16 people).
