Sound Control 3


Sound Control 3 offers especially newer students the possibility to experiment and try things out for themselves - both artistically and technically. Through the multifarious equipment, this sound control facility can be used both for recording and as a production studio for bigger MIDI productions. A broad range of software, several hardware synthesizers and a choice of analogue periphery allows many configuration possibilities, from classical multiple track recording to interesting sound experiments. A choice of Schoeps and Neumann microphones and a number of dynamic microphones are also included in the regular equipment of the studio and can be used at any time for recording.
For comparative listening, there are three stereo monitoring systems available.
For mixing, the studio is equipped with an digital broadcast desk from Studer.
Sound Control 3 is connected with 32 channels to Sound Studio 3, located next door, but can also receive microphone signals from Sound Studio 1 and 2. Equipment Mixing desks:
