Stephan Friedrich
Assistant professor for Digital Audio Workstations
stephan.friedrich(at)rsh-duesseldorf.de Stephan Friedrich, born 1976, completed his studies in audio and video engineering at the University of Music Duesseldorf in 2006. Since 1998, Friedrich has been primarily working on a freelance basis as a sound engineer, music producer and composer. His activities cover the areas of music production in the studio and live field, word production for radio broadcasting and radio plays, supersonic sound, set audio and film audio editing. His customers to date have included WDR Fernsehen television station, Neumann&Müller event systems, WDR radio station, Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus theatre, IFS Köln (International Film School Cologne) and SWR radio station. He has worked with artists such as Tango Five, Waschkraft, Der Familie Popolski, Heavytones, Till Brönner, Simphiwe Dana, Helen Schneider, Sinhead O'Connor, Karl Frierson, The Manhattan Transfer, Raul Midon, Chris Jarret, Sandy, Wonderwall, Freundeskreis/Joy Denalane, Max Herre, Gentleman, Afrob, Incognito; Tower of Power, Hiram Bullock, Mike Stern, Roy Hargrove, McCoy Tyner Trio and many more.  Since 2009, Stephan Friedrich has been teaching the subject of Digital Audio Workstations at the Institute for Music and Media of the University of Music Duesseldorf.
