As part of the sound art exhibition in the studio and exhibition space Künstlerhaus Dortmund, Florian Zeeh presented his installation STAHL GLAS STROM [Steel Glass Power], which in the (virtual) darkness does not tire of producing sounds, shadows and rhythms. Three uninterrupted self-revolving glass cylinders, driven by strange machines, send steel balls flying around. Sometimes a magnet intervenes. The future cracking of the glass, rusting of the steel and the elemental forces, which brought the materials to light in the distant past, exist in unison in this space. Click, roll, roll, clack.
STAHL GLAS STROM was produced as part of the project module in the Music and Media bachelor program under the direction of Prof. Dr. Heike Sperling.
