Testpublikum [Test audience]
What is automatic and what do we do automatically? Do we control or are we controlled? When do we actively intervene, or do we bide our time? Testpublikum is a performance in a two-room installation by Music and Media major Juliane Blum. The participants have the opportunity of controlling, allowing themselves to be controlled or of withdrawing and observing.
The project was developed as part of the advanced-level module Music Informatics and the College of Music and Art Montepulciano. It explores, among other things, Marshall McLuhan's ideas on the spatial independence of information.
