Once a year, the symphony orchestra of the Robert Schumann Hochschule is invited to perform at Wuppertal’s historic civic center and concert hall, the Historische Stadthalle. A large team of students in the Music and Audiovisual Media and Classical Music Recording concentrations at the Institute for Music and Media always comes along to record the production using the institute’s sound and video broadcasting van.

Last year, the orchestra performed Hector Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique.
